Abstract

320,381. Morling, W. A. July 11, 1928. Draining - channels. - A road gutter is formed of blocks a precast of artificial stone and having their upper surfaces sloped to suit the angle or curve of the road camber when their lower surfaces are placed on a level road bed. The blocks may be interlocked as shown in Fig. 7, or shaped as shown in Fig. 5 for use at bends or corners of the road.
