319,977. Morris, J. L. Nov. 5, 1928. Road-traffic signals on vehicles. - Rotatable pointers 1 for signalling intended manoeuvres on road-vehicles carry armatures 4 for co-operation with electromagnets 5, 9 when these are energized by the appropriate movements of a switch 6. Normally each pointer is concealed by a casing 18 carrying a contact 11 for engagement by a contact 13 when the pointer is in the signalling position, so as to light automatically a lamp 10 in the pointer. The pointer may be moved in successive steps by a series of spaced electromagnets, and may be waved to and fro by suitable operation of the switch.
