Abstract

319,723. Semat, J. L. Sept. 27, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Stereosoopic kinematography.- Instead of arranging stereoscopic images side by side they are arranged so that the line joining the centre of figure of the two images forms an angle with the horizontal, e.g. 90‹, that is the images are one above the other. By this arrangement, kinematographic projections of such pictures may be viewed without perspective distortion by spectators in various parts of a large hall. For viewing the pictures an optical system comprising prisms is provided for each eye as shown in Fig. 1, or the prism may only be applied to one eye.
