Abstract

319,483. Jefcoate, H. J. Sept. 17, 1928. Signs; name and number plates; supporting and securing.-Advertising and like signs, formed on transparent or translucent material, are mounted in a transparent folder, pocket, or covering envelope which may in turn be mounted in a frame. The folder may comprise a single sheet of transparent material folded at the centre or may comprise two sheets of transparent material mounted in a metal, or other frame; the two sheets being clamped together after the insertion of the advertising sheet. Fig. 5 shows a supporting frame fitted with channels into which the mounted advertisements slide. In another construction the mounted advertisements are arranged all round the walls of a. box frame carrying internal lights. In another construction the folder frame is holed to enable it to be laced to a similarly-holed flat supporting frame, or it may be clipped to a flat frame. The folders may be made of glass.
