Vacuum tubes.-In order to limit the shortcircuit current of a valve, for example a transmitting valve in which the anode direct currentvoltage is supplied through valves, one or more windings are included in the anode circuit and are arranged so that their magnetic fields control the space current. In a valve having an anode forming the envelope, the magnetic winding is arranged around the anode. A capacity may be connected between the anode and the coil, and the capacity and coil may form part of the usual choke circuit.
