Panoramic apparatus. - A clockwork-driven panoramic camera rotates about a spindle passing through the camera body and situated directly behind the sensitive surface. As shown in Fig. 1, the film is unwound from the roller 7, passes ever the roller 8 through a slot in the rear of the camera proper 3 to the take-up roller 6, which is driven through gear 5 by a spring. A toothed wheel 9 secured to the roller 8 meshes with a roothed wheel 10 mounted on the tubular spindle 11 placed directly behind the film 4. The spindle 11 is fixed to a mandrel 12 by a screw, and carries at its top a toothed wheel 14 which turns an indicator 16 showing the length of exposed film. The brake 17 acting through gearing 18 controls the unwinding of the film from the roller 7.
