Abstract

314,623. Barton, C. F. April 23, 1928. Heating and cooking vessels.-Food is cooked in closed receptacles D disposed within a series of nested containers B formed with perforated bottoms so that steam generated in the lowermost vessel A can effect the cooking. The receptacles D are spaced above the bottoms of the containers by means of blind or perforated projections H formed therein, thus allowing free passage for the steam and return of condensed water through the perforations F. The uppermost container is closed by a lid C.
