Abstract

314,303. Tattersall, R. June 25, 1928. Divided on 313,759. Carpet-sweepers. -The rotary brush of the sweeper comprises a barrel A provided with bristles a and formed with an axial opening through which a metal tube a<2> is pressed. To each end of the tube is secured a fibre or other wheel a<3>. Each end of the barrel A is formed with an annular recess to receive a metal reinforcing ring a'. Alternatively, each end of the barrel is strengthened by a metal cap or ferrule.
