Abstract

312,787. Fraschetti, V. Oct. 6, 1928. Cabinets.-In a cabinet for gramophone records having tilting-devices operated by push or pull rods for delivering the records means are provided for receiving the records when moved forward by the delivery-device so that they do not roll out of the cabinet. For this purpose the records rest in the notches of a notched bar 13 and when moved forward by the tilting-device 9 pivot on this bar until they fall forward against a bar 14 forming an upstanding ridge or stop. The record then rests on the bars 13, 14 until removed by hand. The tilting-device 9 consists of a pivoted piece grooved to receive the edge of the record and operated by a pull-rod 7 and knob 8. The piece 9 may be formed as a bell-crank lever operated by a push-rod, or it may be replaced by a grooved pulley on a pivoted rod. Fig. 6 shows an arrangement in which the piece 9 is operated by a roller 22 on the rod 7. The records are separated by partitions which may be solid or of zig-zag wires covered with cloth.
