Abstract

311,589. Bowie, J. July 5, 1928. Helicopters ; coupling in pairs ; propelling.- Two or more helicopters of the kind described in Specification 239,323 are connected together side by side with spaces between them in which are placed propellers for forward and upward movement. These propellers comprise tapered scoops E mounted in an inclined position and having propellers at their ends similar to the propellers H having two convolutions as described in Specification 239,323. The spaces between the hulls may have structures for the accommodation of the crew, passengers, machinery &c.
