310,951. Bohn Aluminum & Brass Corporation, (Assignees of Nelson, A. L.). May 5, 1928, [Convention date]. Pistons.-In grinding a piston skirt to oval. shape the piston, comprising a head 16 and a skirt 17 is placed with the open end on a slightly oval tapered driving centre 11, being pressed thereon, so as to expand into a slightly oval form at that end, by a spring pressed centre 13, the piston then being ground cylindrical on its exterior surface; a pin 15 serves to drive. the piston. In a modification, the interior of the open end of the piston is given an oval shape, and the piston is pressed on to a circular centre.
