Abstract

308,323. Dreyfus, H. Sept. 13, 1927. Yarns &c., treating with liquids.- Cellulosic textile materials such as cotton, viscose silk, and other regenerated cellulose, materials, are subjected to the action of an acetylation or other esterification bath containing an organic acid anhydride, zinc chloride or other zinc halide, hydrochloric or other hydrohalide acid, and a diluent such as will prevent any change of form of the materiai treated.
