307,210. Callender's Cable & Construction Co., Ltd., and Simkin, F. H. March 3, 1928. Clips and holders for cables and conductors.-An insulating holder for electric cables comprises a slotted base A having a hole for a fixing screw F by which the bolder mav be secured to a wall or other support, and a screwthreaded cap D adapted to engage a threaded part of the base to hold the cable C in the slot B. The cap may be internally screw-threaded to fit over flanges on the base A. An insulating washer E is fitted between the cable C and the cap D, and an insulating pad G is fitted between the head of the screw F and the cable C. In a modified construction, the base is formed with two slots, each to receive a cable; and each slot may be humped to engage the underside of the cable so as to prevent relative movement between the cable and the cleat.
