Fumes, treating with liquids.-Zinc &c. vapours are condensed by admitting them through an opening c to a water jacketed tower a down which water is caused to fall from nozzles or jets in pipes e - - k arranged as shown. The separating liquid may be circulated through a settling tank or filter press and pump, and returned to the spray pipes after separation of the condensed product.
