Abstract

Disc mills.-In a bearing device for mills of the kind which comprise a top stone 1 and a bottom stone 10 whereof the bottom stone is movable and the top stone is stationary, the top stone hangs in a stirrup 2 secured to the stone by bolts 3 and is connected to a shaft 5 by a ball pivot in a strap 4 formed on the shaft. The top stone is adjusted in relation to the bottom stone by means of the shaft 5 which is screwed and is operated by gear wheels 6, 7, the stone being guided by projections 9 in guides 8. The ends of the projections may be of spherical configuration.
