Abstract

301,201. Peacock, W. Nov. 24, 1927. Advertising on vehicles; signs, supporting.- Supports for slip-in announcement boards &c. for vehicle windows comprise a pair of channel members mounted at the top of the window frame and containing spring detents adapted to engage and support the boards &c. A pair of channel members 1 are mounted on the window frame with their open sides facing one another so that an announcement board 3 having lateral notches 11 can be pushed in from below and be supported in position by spring detents 7 provided with finger release hooks 8 and engaging the upper edges of the notches. Additional holding springs 9 are provided in the upper ends f the channel members. Smaller sheets may be used, their lower edges resting on the detents.
