Showcards; figures or models.-A collapsable showcard or advertising model having front and back parts is fitted with resilient means, such as an elastic strip or spring, for automatically extending the device into the display position. As shown in inverted plan, front and rear display members a, b, Figs. 3 and 4, are connected by a collapsable box-shaped member a2 having a diagonal spacing strut e and an elastic strip h or spring secured to a notch or the like e<2> on the rear member a and passing through apertures 9 in one side of the member a<2>. When the device is unwrapped the elastic automatically extends the device into the display position. The boxshaped member a<2>, Fig. 7, may be collapsed on lateral creases j and be fitted with one or more spiral springs i.
