Abstract

259,309. Bloomer, F. July 9, 1925. Stays.-Adjustment means for the drop-end of a couch comprise a stay formed of a pair of hinged struts 30 connected at their lower ends by a perforated plate 31, the perforations of which engage a projection 39 on the frame of the couch. The stay is preferably of a V-shape, and is pressed outwardly by a spring 45. When the drop-end is in the upright position, its lower end rests upon the transverse frame member 13, the catch 46 preventing outward or upward movement.
