Abstract

297,140. Macfarlane, H. June 15, 1927. Hot-water bottles.-The neck B of a hot-water bottle A contains a ferrule C threaded to receive a cap D. The inner end of the furrule is flattened at E, and carries a vent pipe F extending upwards and having a lateral orifice G. The extension of the ferrule at E beyond the end of the pipe F, and the arrangement of the inner end of the pipe F next to the handle H ensures the free escape of air during filling.
