Abstract

296,152. Crombie, W. A. E. June 21, 1927. Massage. - In a resilient massage roller of the kind formed with surface hollows, the divisions between the hollows have parallel edges which run spirally criss - cross around the roller. The appliance comprises a resilient roller a mounted on a hard core b through which passes a spindle the ends of which are housed in handles f, f, or in a frame. Hollows h in the surface of the roller are separated by divisions g having slightly rounded edges. In modifications the resilient roller may be mounted directly on the spindle and the spindle may be formed in two or more parts for convenience in packing. According to the Provisional Specification the roller may be formed from a flat sheet of perforated rubber lapped round a cylindrical core and the hollows may be circular or hexagonal.
