Abstract

294,738. Jackson, W. June 2, 1927. Roofing-tiles.-A six-sided roofing-tile of substantially flat form is provided with four or more nailing-holes, each disposed adjacent to a corner as shown in Fig. 1. The tile may be formed by cutting away two opposite corners of a square tile, and nailing-holes 4, 5, 6 may be provided. The tiles may be used with either surface exposed or with either of the corners 7 uppermost. The tile may be a regular hexagon with holes at all the corners. The thickness of the tile may diminish from the centre outwards as shown in Fig. 3.
