Tripod stands.-A tripod stand consists of legs A pivoted to a head B and pivotally connected at their lower ends to tie rods D which are pivotally connected at their other ends to a common ring &c. E, the arrangement being such that when the stand is collapsed, the tie rods D extend beyand the lower ends of the legs A in substantial alignment therewith as shown in Fig. 1. Specifications 1036/05, 103,894, and 154,050 are referred to.
