Needles, vibrating laterally.-In a machine in which one pitman 52 oscillates two pivoted needle-carriers 11, 12 through lever 51, links 46, 47 and bell-crank levers 35, 29 and 43, 41, in order to permit independent adjustments of the throws of the two needles the levers 35, 43 are radially adjustable across the ends of their shafts 30, 42. The zero positions of the two needles are adjustable by rotational adjustment of the levers 29, 41 on the shafts 30, 42.
