Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-In a mauually-controlled signalling-device for motor vehicles comprising a rotatable drum 14 adapted to display pairs of a series of duplicate signs at diametrically opposite apertures in a fixed casing 7, the accurate step-by-step movement of the drum is ensured by a spring 21 anchored to the casing 7 at one end and bearing at the other end on a notched member 20 rigidly secured to the drum 14. The drum may be rotated by a flexible shaft or cable, the operating handle serving also as a switch to light a lamp 22 in the signalling positions.
