Abstract

291,415. Malone, A. W. Aug. 19, 1926, [Convention date]. Fencing posts.-In a post of the type consisting of two sets of continuous angle iron strips 5, 6 wound helically in opposite directions and connected together at their crossing points by welding, riveting, &c. one or more strengthening bands are positioned between and secured to the strips at their crossing points. As shown, two wide metal bands 7, 8 are inserted between the strips at the base and a similar band at the top. Fig. 4 shows two forms of angled strip.
