Abstract

291,046. Universal Winding Co., (Assignees of De Wolf, E. A.). May 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Winding-machines.-The spindle 2 upon which a cop-holder 5 is mounted is provided with a selflubricating bushing, e.g. of wood impregnated with graphite, or other similar lubricant rotatably mounted thereon. Two bushes 10 may be provided separated by a sleeve the bushes being retained by the shoulder 12 and a washer 16 and split-ring 17. The end of the spindle 2 is provided with a spring-controlled latch 20 for retaining the cop-holder 5 thereon.
