Strap and cord fasten ings.-Fastening devices of the kind described in the parent Specification are so punched out in manufacture that the edges b co-operating with the toothed tongues a are without sharp projections, so that they do not catch into the string &c. when it is drawn over them in the tightening operation. In Fig. 13 the edge b consists of convex curves, and in Fig. 14 of a straight edge with indentations. The Specification describes several forms of the invention for use with string, rope, and web or strap.
