Abstract

274,117. Honigbaum, H. H. July 10, 1926, [Convention date]. Hooks fixed to flat surfaces.-Hooks are formed from a sheetmetal blank which has one or more spikes 3 stamped out of it and has a part or parts turned up to form hooks 8, the ends 8a of the hooks being parallel to and close to the main portion of the blank. The slot formed by cutting out the spike 3 extends to the edge of the blank. As shown in Fig. 2 the hooks are formed by turning up the slit edge of the blank, or they may be stamped out of the blank as shown at 8<b>, Fig. 4. A picture hook has one end 8<dd>, Fig. 6 curved to engage a moulding.
