Abstract

288,505. Barker, D. Nov. 17, 1927-. No Patent granted (Sealing feet not paid). Scaffolding.-The furniture joint described in Specification 274,317, [Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], is now applied to scaffolding. The ends of the poles 11, 12 are recessed, and internally and externally screwed sleeves 15 are secured in these recesses. Cross members 14 are apertured at the ends and are threaded on to the connecting bolts 16, on to which the socketed ends of the poles are screwed. The ends of the poles may be strengthened by external sleeves 17. The cross members may abut with half-lap joints.
