Abstract

287,717. Beidler, G. C. March 28, 1927. Cameras fitted with means for treating negatives. - Exposed film is fed from a camera into a developing tank 25 and is then severed, the upstanding end being seized by rollers 28, 31 to direct the length of film on to guide 37. The film is directed to rollers 38, 39 so that it receives a coating of fixing fluid before emerging into the tank 32. The roller 28 is carried by a slide 26 reciprocated against a spring 51 by an arm 55 rocked by a link 57. This link carries a roller 62 which is engaged by a cam 63 when an operating handle is turned, the roller being brought into the path of the cam by the engagement of a pin 70 on the shaft 64 with a helical slot 69 in the hub of a driving wheel 67 to propel the shaft, and with it the link 57 endwise.
