Hubs.-Detachable wheels are secured to axles by loose balls c carried by the hub and adapted to enter a groove a<1> in the axle and be retained therein by a rotary sleeve e having limited rotary movement on the hub regulated by a slot and screw d<7>. Apertures e<1> in the sleeve allow for the release of the wheel. The hub is formed with internal hardened sleeves b<1> forming a lubricating groove a at its centre.
