Abstract

286,584. G³nthermann, C. F. Dec, 29, 1927. Model machines.-A toy vacuum cleaner has a fan and flywheel actuated by rack and pinion. A pinion 2<1> on the fan shaft is engaged by a gear wheel 14 when the rack 4 is depressed, and the fan is rotated accordingly. When the rack is returned by its spring the wheel 14 is released from engagement. The rack is depressed by hand, or may be engaged by and actuated by a catch on the handle, the catch being released when the handle is in a given position.
