286,109. Vidal, A. E., (Littell, N.). April 4, 1927. Moulding - machines. - A stationary machine for filling moulds has a projector 5 movable in a horizontal plane over the moulds. A support 1 carries a guideway 3 on a footstep bearing 2. Movable axially within the guideway 3 are slide-bars 4 carrying a projector 5 rotated from an electromotor 13 and a conveyer 9 taking sand from a bin 10 to the projector. The conveyer 9 is driven by gearing from the motor. The bearing 2 comprises inclined rollers 19 and a ball bearing 20, Fig. 2. In a modification the conveyer is driven at high speed and carries buckets to deliver sand to a deflector. Specification 155,797 is referred to.
