Films with multiple sensitive layers; colour photography.-A film of the kind comprising a carrier of celluloid &c. coated on both) sides with sensitive emulsion layers upon which different colour-record images are to be. printed, and wherein opaque layers are provided between the carrier and each emulsion layer in order that the light used in printing either layer shall not penetrate through the carrier to the other layer, is modified by omitting one of the opaque layers, so that the film consists of an emulsion layer, a carrier, an opaque layer, and a second emulsion layer in the order named. The opaque layer may be coloured in known manner by manganese peroxide or by a non-actinic dyestuff soluble in the developing and fixing baths.
