Ventilators; ventilating vehicles.-Tlie Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes a cowl for attaching to vehicles, &c., comprising an open-ended cylinder a having upwardly directed openings b, a cover c surrounding the cylinder a and having outlet openings d at its upper part and inlet apertures e, protected by baffles f, at its lower end, an apertured collar j connected to a collar i at the lower end of the cylinder a, and a ceiling bracket l having a peripheral perforated band m. The cover c is preferably removable, and has a cap at its upper end, and a collar g connects the cylinder a with the roof h of the vehicle &c, Air entering the orifices e passes through the openings b, d, and induces a flow of air from the apertures m, and also from the space provided between the roof h and ceiling k. The bracket l may be arranged to carry a lamp. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
