Table adjustments. -In a folding table of the X-frame type constructed to permit vertical adjustment of the top, the legs b, c are slotted, the outer legs b receiving, in their slots d, sliding blocks e carrying seiew-threaded extensions which engage the tapped ends of a central strut h, the threads being of opposite hand so that rotation of the strut h clamps or loosens each pair of legs simultaneously. The screwed extensions of the members e pass through sliding blocks fitted in the slots in the inner pair of legs c.
