Dark-slides.-The shutter E of a dark-slide is made of flexible material such as celluloid, and is provided with a stop F that engages the top edge of the opening in the adapter A to prevent its complete withdrawal. The shutter is bent back over the door B and held bv a catch or hook engaging an eye G. A flat spring C presses the slide against the adapter, and a projecting end of the spring prevents withdrawal of the slide when the shutter is moved.
