Concrete posts; modified for climbing; of special cross section; bases. - Pillars and columns of reinforced concrete and polygonal section with concave sides and rounded edges are enclosed just above and below ground level by an iron or concrete casing 6 which is filled in with concrete containing reinforcements 9. Two pillars may be enclosed in a single casing. A central hole 4 is provided for cables or pipes, and holes 5 for pegs to facilitate climbing. The concave sides may be variously shaped, as shown by the dotted lines.
