Abstract
279,483. Galeazzi, R. Oct. 25. 1926. [Convention date]. Tanks.-Submarine hulls and other hollow closed bodies, designed to resist external or interior pressure, comprise end members F and side plating comprising number of spherical portions which are joined by web members consisting of bulb angles 0, the bulb of which may be internal or external of the stem plating, and the flange of which may be square or angled. In a modification, the bulb angles are supplemented by external or internal rings R. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises the application of the invention to bodies designed to resist interior pressure. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
