Abstract

279,227. Br³derlin, E. Sept. 25, 1926. Ends; with air &c. holes adapted to be permanently sealed.-The end of a metal container which is sealed by melting in vacuo a perforated bead 6 of solder in an aperture 7 in the end is formed with a gutter 48 to receive any liquid sucked therefrom during evacuation, and with a raised part 47 to facilitate cleaning of the part surrounding the solder.
