Abstract

278,736. Grabe, H. Oct. 7, 1926, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Chalk-holders. - A device for marking cloth &c. with powdered chalk comprises a container a for the chalk and a marking wheel d<1> rotatably mounted in the slotted bottom of the container; the container serves as a handle by which the wheel is moved over the cloth &c. The wheel d' consists of a porous rim held between two discs d and the rim is supplied with powder by a second wheel g which presses against the wheel d<1> and is rotatablv mounted in a box h in the container. Resilient packing k is interposed between the box h and the wheel d<1> to prevent chalk slipping past the sides of the wheel.
