Rotary-tool and disc-tool implements; cleaning parts; guards; wheels, arrangement of; implements with means for distributing seeds.-A motor-driven cultivator comprising a rotary time-carrying shaft a and a rotary shaft e carrying tine cleaners is provided with an additional rotary shaft e carrying interchangeable tools for ridging and furrowing or pulverizing the soil, or for covering sown seeds, this additional shaft e being driven from the tinecarrying shaft a, or from the shaft c, or from the shaft of seed-drilling apparatus when such apparatus is mounted on the machine. The sha.ft e is provided with equally spaced collars or brackets f on which tines or ridging tools g or discs are mounted. The shaft is shown driven by spur and chain gearing from the cleaner shaft c. A trailer wheel o connected by a. forked bracket q to a hood p prevents the ridging tools from penetrating too far into the soil. The shaft e is detachably mounted in a bracket r on the bracket q and is supported at its ends by detachable brackets.
