Abstract

276,590. Weenen, F. L. van. April 5, 1927. Fluid-friction vibrationdampers. - A flexible or foldable receptacle such as a bellows 1, Fig. 1, is of variable capacity, the flow of fluid into or out of the bellows being restricted by an adjustable, throttling device associated with the pipe 5. The upper movable end 2 of the bellows is connected to the rod 4 of a weighing machine and the lower end 3 is fixed. In a modification the upper end is fixed to the lower end movable while in a further modification, the bellows is arranged inside a liquid receptacle provided with a throttling outlet.
