275,893. Sickels, J. H. March 19, 1927. Packing goods; unpacking.-Relates to packages in which goods are enclosed in metallic foil folded round the goods and seated by fusing or welding the edges. According to the invention, the package is sealed by line welding 15 - - 18, Figs. 3 and 5, or by stitch welding 19, Fig. 6, along lines clear of the edges so as to have a free marginal edge to facilitate opening. The air may be exhausted from the package before finally sealing.
