Multiple-indication apparatus, optical devices for.-In a computing weighing-scale having a rotatable transparent value chart set by the weighing-mechanism and an optical projection means set according to the price per unit-weight, the appropriate graduations on the chart are projected on to an invariable part of a screen fixed in the casing. As shown a transparent discshaped chart 5 is mounted for rotation about a spindle 9 in operative connection with the pendulum-lever 2. The chart is marked with a series of rings of graduations, the outermost ring referring to weight, and each of the other rings to values corresponding to a certain price per unit weight. The weight graduations are read through an aperture 7<1> in the housing, whilst the value graduations are projected by a lamp 10, through a system of lenses and prisms, on to a screen 8. The lenses 12, 15 and prisms 14, 17 are mounted in guides for movement as a whole in a vertical direction by the operation of a handle 24. The handle is provided with a locking device 25 and with a pointer 26 that registers with a scale graduated in prices per unit-weight. The optical system is such that the rays between the lenses 11, 12 and 15, 19 are parallel, so that the image of the chart projected on the screen is always correctly focussed. Modifcations are described in which the chart is cylindrical and spherical in shape. In the latter modification, the projection means may be moved by the weighing-mechanism and the chart by hand.
