274,393. Turnbull &. Co., Ltd., A., Howden, W. H., and Norrie, L. F. April 2, 1927. Sluice valves.- A sluice valve of the kind including spring pressed valve discs 2 embraced by a bridle 3 secured to the valve actuating spindle 4 has the bridle formed with elongated guide channels 5 adapted to co-operate with guide pins screwed into the valve casing. The pins have reduced ends 7 engaging the grooves and have the heads 6 adapted to engage packing washers 9 housed in recesses 8 in the casing.
