Abstract
274,069. Automobiles Industriels Bovy Soc. Anon. July 6, 1926, [Convention date]. Valves.-Inlet and exhaust passages 15 and 16 respectively are controlled by recesses 17 and 18 formed in semi-cylindrical slide valves 8 and 9 so as to connect the passages 15 and 16 to an annular passage 6 in communication with the combustion chamber. The passage 6 completely surrounds the valves so as to balance the pressures thereon. The valves may be arranged horizontally above the cylinder, instead of at the side as shown.
