Abstract

272,131. Harrison, N. Feb. 4, 1927. Moulds.-In machines for moulding concrete blocks &c. of the kind comprising a mould having a movable portion adapted to be swung over by manual means from a closed position into a position where the block is delivered at the front of the machine, the operating-means consists of a hand-lever f connected to a shaft g on which are fixed arms h, linked by members i to the movable portion of the mould, which portion comprises front and base plates c, c'. A counterweight k secured to the shaft g holds the mould firmly in the closed position, and is so positioned as to enable the mould to be closed again with little effort.
