Abstract

270,826. Packards & J. Fison (Thetford), Ltd., and Maudsley, R. T. Feb. 17,1926. Sulphuric acid.-A sulphuric-acid chamber, particularly of the type arranged for external cooling as described in Specification 12067/13, is connected to the supporting framework by links. The chamber 1 is conical and has a vertical lug 2 burnt thereto. Loosely pivoted to the lug 2, with the interposition of iron bars 6, are links 5 pivoted at their other ends to adjustable eyebolts 7. Secured to the framework 3 are brackets 4 by which the eyebolts 7 are carried either with or without the intermediary of rubber washers or metal springs 8.
