Abstract

Walls; columns.- Concrete wall columns are formed of two precast complemental sections 5, 5<1> clamped on the slabs and to central uprights 24, and provided with rabbeted edges 11 forming grooves to receive tenons on the slabs, both faces . of the wall being flush. Metallic strips 15 embedded near the ends of the sections are shaped to embrace the upright 24, such as a metal tube, which is embedded in the foundation. The sections are secured together by bolts 22, and the space 23 may be filled with cement.
